[too late, he thinks. but other than another quick text to acknowledge, he doesn't say anything else. he'll be there, though, sitting on a bench outside with a notebook at hand he's writing in. ]

[ And he arrives on time, seeing the older man at the bench. He approaches and stands in front of Cal, coughing a bit to get their attention. ]

[Callaghan's already looking up as Glitch approaches, and has the notebook closed when he halts before him. without hesitation, he holds out his hand palm up. ]

I need physical contact. Doesn't have to be long.

[ The look on his face is distrustful and uncomfortable with the thought of touching, Cal. The guy who murdered a friend's family. But, Hiro has gone the path of dealing with it...he may as well too.

So, with much hesitation, he reaches out and touches Cal's palm. ]

[ To Glitch it feels far more...wondrous. It's like having a phantom limb being restored before his eyes. Whole and complete again he can feel that charge of life fill him once again. No longer defenseless. No longer useless.

Still, Glitch looks a bit more awkward for this as he looks at fairly...troubled Callaghan.

Hiro still hates him, he's sure and Glitch should hate him too. After all, the guy did murder what was left of Hiro's family so he just keeps a neutral frown and shrugs. ]

Yeah, well, fine, that's fair. But, stop it. It's over now and it lasted a fucking week if less. No reason to have a pity party anymore and get frustrated over one asshole if he barely succeeded.

I feel bad because they were caught up in this and were nowhere near prepared for it. [it's one thing to run in to a fire. it's quite another when the fire is all around you and you can't run away. and with him being one of the flames - well.
